The Devil's duo; a two piece folk act made up of Chris Good and Charlotte Robinson. The pair met when Charlotte strolled into Cuba, Plymouth, to find Chris performing an acoustic set to the packed out student bar. They caught each other's eye throughout the night as she danced in front of his mic stand, with Chris eventually dedicating a song to her...in exchange for a cheeky kiss.
Discovering that Charlotte played the violin, Chris realised he'd found someone who he could work with to achieve the sound he wanted. It wasn't long before the pair were testing the new sound on the open mic crowds taking the chemistry they have offstage up to the mic, with songs such as "Galway Girl" and "Whisky in the jar", as well as a Devil's Duo original called "Charlie", which tells the story of how the pair met.
With an ever increasing set, consisting of folk favourites and their own popular originals, the Devil's Duo are already favourites at Plymouth's most prominent music venues, including Kitty O'Hanlons, The James Street Vaults, Blackjacks and the Blues Bar and Grill and have won the confidence of local folk giants such as Black Jack Davey and Maddog Mcrea.
